Your piano is built to last and accompany you throughout your life. If used regularly, your piano will generally require minor repairs and adjustments after a number of years. The hammers, dampers, and strings may eventually need to be replaced. The pedals in particular are built to withstand a lot of stress, but a yearly inspection at the time of a tuning appointment is highly recommended for top performance.

IN-HOME PIANO TUNING AND SERVICE

APPRAISAL FOR REPAIRS
Make the right decision about your piano and ask for a detailed assessment of the work needed to repair or restore it. Whether you choose to repair or replace your piano, the evaluation cost is reimbursed in the repair contract or at the purchase of a replacement piano.

VOICING
When a piano is used heavily or reaches a certain age, the hammers are likely to harden, thus producing a bright and uneven tone which is unpleasant to the ear. Moreover, it becomes much more difficult to control the piano in the the pianissimo range. Our concert technicians are able to restore your piano’s rich tone!

REGULATION
Regulation has a significant effect on a piano’s sound. All 88 keys must go through the same series of precise movements to ensure perfect control and even tone. Don’t hesitate to have your piano’s regulation assessed every year.

PARTS REPLACEMENT
As the hammers and strings age, the sound quality of your piano is negatively affected. With replaced parts you will rediscover the rich sound and superb touch of your piano.

PARTIAL OR FULL PIANO RESTORATION
Ask for a quote to partially or fully restore your piano. If the piano is a valuable heirloom, it may be best to rebuild and restore the piano to its former glory rather than replacing it.
