Products and components for piano technicians
We manufacture and supply essential parts for piano restoration, manufacturing and maintenance: pinblocks, soundboards, maple parts and specialized tools.

Maple slatted bed base
Since 1985, Pianos Bolduc has been exporting the internationally recognized BolducBlock pinblock. This component has a primary function: to hold string tension. The laminated panels are joined in five crossed layers of maple to ensure stability and durability.

White spruce soundboard
Made from the highest quality Canadian Sitka spruce, the soundboard undergoes a strict manufacturing process to ensure its stability. Major piano manufacturers have used Sitka spruce since the beginning of the modern piano era. It is scientifically proven that Sitka spruce is the wood species that perfectly meets all quality criteria for soundboard construction.

Hammer hearts
Our top-grade maple is used in America and Europe for making hammer handles and heads.

Wooden components for pianos
Dams (coasts)
We manufacture the ribs that will serve as a dam for the new soundboards. These kits of pre-cut parts fit all piano models.
Maple for bridges
Pianos Bolduc selects top quality maple; 100% quarter cut, respecting uniformity in the direction of the grain, our maple perfectly meets the high standards of the industry.
Beams, deck and other products
We manufacture on request a multitude of products intended for the manufacture of pianos.
Maple and spruce by-products
Spruce moulding
When replacing a soundboard, we are able to provide moldings expressly designed to go around the piano cabinet.
Spruce budworm
The life of some soundboards can be extended by adding flipots. As the investment is much less than the replacement, this method responds to market demand.
Maple dowels
We distribute top quality maple dowels.
Specialized tools
The design of specialized tools for performing certain stages of piano restoration has been developed gradually over the past 20 years. André and Christian Bolduc have always enjoyed creating revolutionary tools designed to facilitate the work of piano reconstruction for technicians and restorers. Concrete demonstrations proved to the public that these tools meet a real need and facilitate the technician's work.
