Piano harmonization
When a piano is played frequently or reaches a certain age, the hammers harden, and the sound becomes too bright and uneven. Pianissimo sounds are more difficult to achieve.
It's time to have the hammers voiced. Contact us.

Mechanical settings
The adjustment of your piano's mechanism influences the instrument's sound. The 88 keys must travel the same distance to ensure sonic uniformity.
If you play frequently, do not hesitate to have the settings checked annually. Contact us.
Installation of a "Piano Life Saver" humidity control system
Protect your piano from humidity fluctuations with a proven system.
A piano is much more than a piece of furniture; it is a musical instrument with extremely precise settings. Its approximately 9000 parts are particularly sensitive to variations in ambient humidity. However, very few public places or residences offer a constant humidity level of 42%, which is necessary for the optimal performance of any piano.
How the Dampp-Chaser System Works for Grand Pianos
The Dampp-Chaser system for grand pianos is discreetly installed under the tail, between the beams. It is barely visible, even on a stage piano. The system includes a high-precision humidistat that controls a humidifier and a dehumidifier. The latter requires no maintenance and is installed under the soundboard. It circulates gentle heat that eliminates excess humidity.
The humidifier, also installed under the soundboard, includes a water tank and a completely silent evaporation mechanism. It provides the piano with necessary humidity when the environment becomes too dry. A panel of indicator lights, hidden under the keyboard, indicates that the system is operating normally, that it's time to refill the water tank, or to replace the wicks. The Dampp-Chaser system comes with a pitcher for easy tank refilling.
How the Dampp-Chaser system for upright pianos works
The Dampp-Chaser system for upright pianos works in the same way as the system for grand pianos. The device is installed behind the lower modesty panel, at the bottom of the piano, and remains invisible from the outside. It requires minimal maintenance and provides your piano with an ideal climate, regardless of the temperature, heating system, or air conditioning system.
The Dampp-Chaser system has been proven since 1947, the year it was introduced, in over 300,000 pianos. It is recommended by both technicians and piano manufacturers. It is inexpensive to use and is covered by a five-year warranty. It is one of the simplest and most effective ways to protect your piano.
